Tier 2: Behavior Support with Multi-Tiered Framework

Tier 3: Positive Behavior Intervention Plan (PBIP)

This resource helps teachers and schools with Tier 3 supports. Tier 3 is designed to support the behavioral needs of about 3 to 5% of students who exhibit the most severe or persistent challenges. These supports involve conducting a Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) to gain a deeper understanding of the reasons behind the behavior. Based on the results, a Positive Behavior Intervention Plan (PBIP) is developed, which includes more intensive, evidence-based strategies tailored to the individual student.
